Why the name “Creative Outlet”?

Creativity has always been my escape to reality. Ever since I was young, I have always done some sort of craft. From popsicle stick art, to friendship bracelets, to crochet, and many more, I have always taught myself a creative activity to calm my nerves and boredom. Some will call it therapy and others will call it meditation. Being able to have a creative outlet is what has kept me going throughout the years.  Naming this business “Creative Outlet” is a reminder of how far I have come as a person and as a business.  

Why flowers?

As many of you may know, flowers are a way many people show love, support, and compassion.  As a child I never understood those feelings  to their full extent. When I was in high school, my mom married this amazing man named Troy. Before they got married, he would gift my mom flowers every week. When he started to become more involved in my life as a father figure, he noticed I started to like flowers as well and would start to bring me flowers along with my moms. Since then, the way I perceived flowers started to change to something deeper than a plant in water. It was the first time I experienced love, compassion, and support from someone other than my mother. Without Troy there would be no love for flowers. Without him there would be no Creative Outlet.
